SPRING TIP RED TEA
Simao, Yunnan, China- Spring 2024
Expansion is an all-bud red tea harvested from the first bud tips to emerge in the spring. To preserve the malty tannin richness of the early sprouts, the tea is harvested within the first week that they come out and masterfully processed to preserve the rich favor of the fragile buds. Semisweet chocolate with toasted notes, the brew is complex, thick and very satisfying. The name Expansion speaks to the uplifting, buzzy energy of the tea that fuels summer days full of increased activity and longer hours.
Ramble on Rose
SANXIA TAIWAN RED TEA
New Taipei City, Taiwan- Spring 2025
Ramble on Rose comes from the northern part of Taiwan just north of the Dongyanshan National Forest. The landscape is lush and ideal for tea trees, thriving in an area where three rivers meet. The Qing Xin cultivars used to produce this tea are also used for Oolong, thus the tea shares many of the bright, fruity tones while maintaining a slightly tannic sourness with cinnamon, red apple and honeydew flavors.The leaves are robust, giving rise to an uplifting Qi, ideal for the more active months. Sweet, refreshing, and clarifying like fresh fruit in the morning, this is an ideal summer red tea produced in the land of Oolong.
Jade Dragon
PRE-QINGMING LONG JING GREEN TEA
Zhejiang, China - Spring 2025
We’ve been looking for a premium organic Long Jing Green Tea for 15 years. Unfortunately, it’s hard to find as most green teas in this region are grown with chemical fertilizers and pesticides. You can imagine my excitement upon finding one grown in a bio-diverse garden free of any chemicals by people who truly love tea - grown in harmony with nature. That love comes through with Jade Dragon. Pan-roasted by hand, the tea is incredibly fresh (harvested in March 2025), grassy, vegetal,sweet and buttery. The body is round and smooth yielding a tea with strong enlivening Qi.

We’ve been looking for a premium organic Dew on the Bough is ethereal, the kind of tea elves would drink. Syrupy nectar earthy sweetness with berry, honey, melon notes from tender, young tea leaves.The tea tree planted in this tea garden is the seed growing mixed tea cultivar (Qun Ti Zhong) planted in the 1960s. Get in there and smell the dry leaves of this beautiful white puerh cake. Wowzers. So nice.

When will I receive the Seasonal Tea Club?
Subscribe to the Seasonal Tea Club at any time to receive the current installment immediately. You will then be charged for the next season at the beginning of the next season, on the date indicated below.
The Seasonal Tea Club aligns with the lunar calendar, with the following schedule:
- Winter ships November 1 - January 15. Subscribers are charged on October 26.
- Spring ships February 1 - April 15. Subscribers are charged on January 26.
- Summer ships May 1 - July 15. Subscribers are charged on April 26.
- Autumn ships August 1 - October 15. Subscribers are charged on July 26.
Do you charge quarterly?
Your personal subscription: Yes, our subscription software will charge your original method of payment at the beginning of each quarter: on the 26th of January, April, July, and October.
Gift subscriptions: No, gifts are a one-time purchase. You will receive email confirmation when the subsequent installments are ready to ship, but your original method of payment will not be charged.
