Chantilly Loam tastes like warm sweet milk, jujube dates, and cream. It’s comfortable, thick, delicious, and grounding. The truth is that we don’t know a ton about this tea. It’s a blend of old-growth leaves from Southern Yunnan from the early 2000’s. Like so many aged, blended, loose-leaf Puerhs, it’s hard to confirm the exact vintage and location of origin. It comes from a trusted source who had some extra in his private collection. We especially love it for its patience: the tea brews for many steepings and helps you drop into your body. It’s the perfect tea for a chilly Autumn day as aged Puerh tends to warm the body, and for longer, “spacious” tea sessions when you need to let go of heaviness.

Living Teas can be steeped many times. Enjoy small cups of tea, re-steeping the same leaves, rather than making a large pot or mug all at once.

· 4-6 grams of tea (approx. 1 teaspoon)
· 210°F water (near boiling)
· 4-5 seconds first steeping, then lengthening a few seconds with each brew
