Description
Expansion is an all-bud red tea harvested from the first bud tips to emerge in the spring. To preserve the malty tannin richness of the early sprouts, the tea is harvested within the first week that they come out and masterfully processed to preserve the rich favor of the fragile buds. Semisweet chocolate with toasted notes, the brew is complex, thick and very satisfying. The name Expansion speaks to the uplifting, buzzy energy of the tea that fuels summer days full of increased activity and longer hours.
