Discover the rich world of Puerh tea with Living Tea founder Colin Hudon. Each month, Colin carefully curates a Puerh tea that exemplifies the qualities of a Living Tea, showcasing teas at their peak flavor or offering early access to rare, exceptional new finds.
Subscribers can look forward to receiving 50-100g of expertly sourced Puerh tea per month, either a Shou (ripe) or Sheng (raw) Puerh, depending on the season.
The darkness, depth, richness, energetics and fermentation of the tea for each month will vary, depending on the season. Generally, more grounding, calming and dark Puerh will feature during the Fall and Winter, while the Spring and Summer will see younger sheng puerh, sweeter, lighter, uplifting teas, puerh bud tip teas, and teas that support the energetic seasonal transitions.
How does the subscription work?

- Subscriptions ship on the 15th of each month. Members who join between the 1st and the 15th will receive the upcoming selection as their first shipment, dispatched on the 15th. Members who join between the 15th and the end of the month will receive the current selection as their first shipment immediately upon sign-up. Subsequent orders will be shipped on the 15th of each month.
- Your original method of payment is then automatically charged monthly.

Dayi Menghai Shou Puerh, 2016
Richly layered with flavors of hazelnut, wet leaves and forest floor, Wooded Valley carries a balanced fermentation, slightly uplifting energy and wonderful patience. Pleasant woodsy flavors rise through the layers, creating a balanced, mellow finish. The natural storage in Guangzhou impacts the aging and flavor with distinctive features from other ripe puerhs. This beautiful teas could be mistaken for an older shou due to the balance and depth. A very drinkable, approachable shou ideal for the early fall.

Aged Loose Leaf Shou Puerh 1992
This deeply-satisfying aged Shou pure carries the quintessence of Autumn. Slightly vegetal with herbaceous oregano and anise notes, the rich, which body draws you inwards as we turn towards the quieter time of the year. Date sweetness and dry autumn leaves come through patient steeping.
We recommend a longer steep time, 10-15 seconds, with water very close to a boil. This brings out the depth of the tea. The fermentation is light but the age yields a complex, grounding and gently uplifting tea that leaves you happy and slightly buzzy. Welcome to Autumn.
