The perfect tea to brighten the first days of summer with hints of white grape, light honey, green apple and a sweet, grassy finish. Refreshing and cooling, this tea reminded us of leaves in the summer rain. Huang Cao Ba is an isolated village of roughly 700 people in Jinggu County of the Pu-erh Region, surrounded by old tea trees. Because the medium-sized tea leaves form small ovals that look like cat ears and teas from this area were sent as tributes to the emperors during the Qing dynasty, the local farmers refer to it as Cat Ear Tribute Tea. This is young sheng puerh at its best.
