Description
With a complex, layered flavor-profile, this gorgeous green tea carries notes of sweet greens, juicy vegetal umami, lightly floral sandalwood, castelvatrano olives and fresh cut grass. The body is thick and brothy with a smooth, refreshing finish. The tea bursts with flavor for many steepings and serves perfectly on hotter days when you want a refreshing, but full-bodied tea. The tiny dark green leaves, curled into loose balls, unfurl beautifully and are loaded with oils. Originating in the Ming Dynasty, the rich history of the tea speaks of high-regard for the complexity of flavor, superior to other lighter green teas. We decided to add it to the catalogue because we felt we had to share it during the summer months.
