We Joke Around. Our Teas Don't.

Let the Tea Choose You
Sure, we have fun naming our teas. But, when it comes to sourcing them, we're don't joke around. For nearly two decades, we’ve sourced clean, rare, bio-diverse, old-growth teas from remote areas of Asia, produced with mastery, reverence, and tradition.
These living teas are more than a beverage—they’re a ritual medicine, daily practice and a way of life. They’ve profoundly impacted our lives, and we believe they can do the same for yours. In essence, these trees help us connect with ourselves, others and the natural world.
Want to see what all the hype is about? We suggest choosing your teas based on an intuitive connection to the intentional name of the tea, by the flavor profile you prefer, or by specific functionality. Alternatively, simplify the whole process, and take the tea quiz.

from 207 reviewsIt really is so well rounded and exactly as described. This is my personal pallet, but after the third steep is when the magic really kicked in for me and I was tasting wildflower honey candied orange peels.

This is perhaps the best oolong I've ever had the honor to sit with. I want to nod at those blooming lilac flavors that it unfolds; for me that is what makes this oolong so special. Intoxicating, I find myself not wanting my sits with it to end. I served this tea at my last tea circle and had a lot of positive comments about it.

My daughters know that I grew up drinking high-quality oolong tea with my parents—their grandparents. For this year’s Mother’s Day, they gifted me a selection from Living Tea with four different varieties. I immediately fell in love with three of them—Jade Dragon, Ramble on Rose, and Expansion—and I’m learning to appreciate the more subtle taste of Puer tea as well.
I truly drink tea throughout the day: red tea with breakfast, green tea with lunch, and herbal tea for the rest of the day. Living Tea’s Jade Dragon is truly exceptional—clean in taste, naturally fragrant, and made with whole tea leaves. It’s the best green tea I’ve ever had.
Let’s just say my teacup hasn’t been empty from Living Tea since Mother’s Day!

Cacao fragrance and flavor, dark and rich brews in the beginning that transforms into those berry notes over multiple steepings. I especially appreciate this on a rainy day.

The level of mastery evident in the craft of this teaware is astonishing. Every aspect of the Zisha Pot is fantastic… the pour, the beautiful wooden handle, the way the lid fits so seamlessly… it’s a work of art that now rests on my altar when not in use. The bowls I received were much darker than the ones pictures and I love them so much… the gold rim, the crackle that is already nicely darkening with a patina. There’s also these streaks of goldish hues that sparkle in the light magically ~ each bowl is a piece of art unto itself. Grateful to cultivate my tea practice with this talismanic teaware ~

I am new to drinking Pu-erh so I don’t know much about the varying types, but so far I am appreciating the ritual of communing with its essence and spirit. I love that each month’s order comes with an intentional note for the month that corresponds with the tea.
I love surprises and being gently forced to surrender to what’s arising in my life, and this gift of a rotating Pu-erh selection keeps me excited and dropped in to the mystery.

Upon my first sit with this, I found it to be a good tea to calm the mind and body, I found it shed anxieties away. I really resonate with the description of it as buttery and I find it to have some sweetness in the fragrance and taste. They are not kidding when they call it sleepy time tea, I found myself drifting off into a peaceful slumber shortly after multiple steepings of this tea.

I got this tea to drink in the evenings and I was amazed at how delicious it was ! Creamy, smooth, complex and it brought a deep feeling of calm without making me overtly sleepy. My roommate drank it first thing in the morning and found it incredibly grounding. It’s been my go to for an evening tea sit !

I had the most exquisite tea sit with this tea. In a transitional life moment, I invited my former partners’ daughter (my spirit daughter) who is 9 to sit with me as we reorient what our shifting relationship looks like. The tea opened our vision to see such vibrant and wonderful details all around us in nature, especially spider webs and dew drops on moss that could be easily overlooked. We felt deeply connected with each other in the web around us and she was so delighted to take part in sipping the tea in a multi cup traditional-esque tea ceremony, where there were silent cups, time for talking and time for singing to the river. The floral notes were delightful for all ages and walks of life. Truly an experience I will treasure for the rest of my days. The spirit of clear vision and open hearted connection is strong in this tea. Thank you.

The Puerh club is a true joy to be part of ! I am newer to Puerh so being able to try a masterfully crafted ally monthly has been thrilling and illuminating. All of the puerhs thus far have have been rich, delicious and thoughtfully curated to the seasons changing energies. I am really excited to try the upcoming sheng puerhs of summer and to sit with this potent plant friend daily, which always offers insight, calm and a path back to the heart.

This tea really hit different. It brews a dark liquor with notes of dates and stewed fruit. One tea ball goes a long way. I found it opened up my breathing passageways and cleared my headache the way the clouds part and the sun comes out shining. I found it moves stagnant energy in the body and removes blocks. I won't forget my first sit with this tea and look forward to many more.

We're in the seasonal tea club and couldn't wait to add more Puerh to our collection through this monthly club. We've been receiving them since January and have found each tea to be spectacular. The April tea, Sky Mind, might be the best tea we've ever tasted. Thank you, Colin, for curating such a special collection of teas for this community!

I had been visioning deepening my relationship to puerh within my practice when this offering was created. It’s evident that great intention goes into choosing each tea. I appreciate the quality of tea, as well as the write ups that contain some of the tea’s history and some of its energetic qualities and how they may lend themselves to the current season. There has also been a great variety so far! Thank you Living Tea!

Panacea is a tea I keep coming back to again and again. I love how it awakens the Yang energy in me so effortlessly. I can't recommend it enough - it's divine in all of its expression.

This is a wonderful oolong. Rich aroma, silky texture, with a taste that truly lingers on the palate. The fragrance and flavor continue to develop through multiple steepings.
