For our first Tea Club book discussion, we are sharing two sheng puerhs produced by Akha tea makers: one poised between youth and maturity, the other transformed by nearly four decades of age.

Together, they invite us to taste some of the novel’s central questions: What does a culture preserve? What does time transform? And how can a place continue to speak through something as small as a handful of leaves?
