The Seasonal Tea Club holds the heart of Living Tea.

It is one of the clearest expressions of what we believe: that tea is not only something to enjoy, but something to live with. That the season matters. That nature is not happening somewhere outside of you. That what is shifting in the world around you is also moving through you: your body, your energy, your attention, and your inner life.

This club was created to help you stay in relationship with that.

Each seasonal collection includes four premium teas chosen in harmony with the time of year, along with guidance inspired by Chinese Medicine, the Way of Tea, and the Five Elements. The result is more than a beautiful box of tea. It is a practice of returning — to the season, to your senses, and to a more grounded way of living.

Tea in harmony with
nature

Most of modern life pulls us away from the rhythms that once shaped how people lived. We eat the same way year round. Move at the same pace. Ignore the subtle shifts in energy, mood, light, and weather that change from season to season. We forget that we are not separate from nature. We are part of it.

The Seasonal Tea Club is a way back.

A way to mark the turning of the year. A way to let tea become a living relationship with what is actually here. A way to stop forcing the same pace in every season and instead listen for what this season is asking of you. That is part of what makes this club so meaningful. It brings the philosophy of Living Tea into practice.

Rooted in the Five
Elements

At Living Tea, tea and the Five Elements are inseparable.

Wood. Fire. Earth. Metal. Water.

This ancient framework from Chinese Medicine offers a way of understanding the cycles of nature and the corresponding movements within us. Each season carries its own qualities, lessons, and energetic terrain. The teas we choose, and the way we work with them, are shaped by that understanding.

The Seasonal Tea Club helps you engage this wisdom in an embodied way, as something to taste, feel, and live with.

If you have been curious about the Five Elements, this club is one of the most approachable and beautiful ways to begin.

  • you want a practice that helps you feel more grounded, connected, and alive throughout the year

The Autumn Collection

Embrace the season with teas thoughtfully curated for our Autumn Tea Club.

Autumn Coil

Organic Keemun Red Tea, 2026

Autumn Coil is one of the great red teas in the world, but unlike tropical, large leaf teas like Darjeeling and Ceylon Uva, Keemun comes from a subtropical growing zone and a small leaf Chinese cultivar, a different lineage entirely. Autumn Coil, our xiang luo, or fragrant ball, style rolled into small coiled pearls, opens into a smooth cup with little astringency and that same orchid and stone fruit signature, cut with a touch more bittersweet clarity than a typical Keemun.

Old Bush Water Fairy

Shui Xian Oolong, 2026

This heavily roasted, deeply sweet tea carries the first hint of autumn's smoke, the way people begin preparing for cooler months before the weather actually turns. This particular Lao Cong, or old bush, Shui Xian has been roasted over charcoal three times, which builds a mature, deeply clear sweetness layered with roasted camellia and notes reminiscent of coffee, while the age of the old trees gives it real depth.

Old Chest Reserve

7581 Shou Puerh, Mid 1990's

This particular vintage, from Kunming Tea Factory and stored through the traditional, more humid method for decades, has developed the deep, medicine chest complexity that long, traditional storage produces: a little smoky, a little like an old Chinese herb shop, with notes of leather, antique wood, and dried date sweetness that balances its earthiness. This is a tea for releasing whatever tension you've been carrying that you don't actually need to.

Plum Peak

Ancient Tree Shou Puerh, 2022

Plum Peak takes its name from two things at once: the roasted plum quality that surfaces in the finish, and Phoenix Peak, part of the tea's original Chinese name. In the cup it is incredibly thick, oily, dark, and full in body, with roasted coffee notes and charred date up front, a dark burgundy color, and a long finish of dried fruit and bitter dark chocolate. Underneath all of it sits a rich, wet, loamy soil note, present without tipping into over fermentation. It is a tea that asks for unhurried attention, and rewards it.

Why join the club
instead of choosing
teas one by one?

You can absolutely buy tea one order at a time.

But the Seasonal Tea Club offers something different.
It removes the guesswork. It keeps you in rhythm. It introduces you to teas you may not have chosen for yourself, but that are exactly right for the season you are in.

It also gives you a deeper way to understand tea as a living practice shaped by nature, energy, and time.

Over time, that changes the relationship.
You stop asking only what tastes good right now.
You begin asking what supports this season.
What brings balance.
What helps you pay attention.
What helps you live in deeper harmony with the world around you.

That is the deeper value of this club.
