Wild Rose Buds
Mei Gui Hua • Wenshan, Yunnan 2022
- Description
The bud of the Chinese Rose, known as Mei Gui Hua, is a Qi Regulating medicinal whose sweet, slightly bitter and warming qualities promote movement in the body and relieve constraint. The beautiful flowers bring a moving quality to a tea that calms the spirit and relieves the pain associated with menstruation, as well as poor appetite. A sweet, floral and unbinding rosebud makes a pleasant addition to many types of Puerh or Black teas, either through the tea session or added for the final steepings.
