Description
This one-of-a-kind sidehandle teapot is handmade by Montana-based ceramicist Cooper Jeppesen. Unlike many other wood sidehandle pots, the handle is screwed into a threaded receiver, rather than permanently affixed - this makes it particularly easy to travel with.
As this pot is unglazed, the clay will absorb tea oils and flavors over time. We recommend dedicating this pot to a single type of tea so the flavors don't get "confused," but if this is not possible, be sure to remove spent leaves and rinse it with hot water right after you've finished your tea.
Please note: Light-colored clays absorb tea oils and colors over time. If you wish to retain the light color of the clay, reserve this teapot for use with light-colored teas only.
