Jade Rose - Mi Xiang Taiwanese Green Tea with Wild Rose Bud 2019 - 2 oz.
Harvested spring 2019 from Nantuo County in Central Taiwan, this beautiful green tea is sweet, grassy, and sensational. We find the youthful freshness of the leaf wonderful on warm days, and appreciate the enhanced sweetness from the rose. The bud of the Chinese Rose, known as Mei Gui Hua, is a Qi Regulating medicinal whose sweet, slightly bitter and warming qualities promote movement in the body and relieve constraint. The beautiful flowers bring a moving quality to a tea that calms the spirit and relieves the pain associated with a woman's monthly cycle as well as poor appetite. A sweet, floral and unbinding rosebud makes a pleasant addition to many types of tea including green, puerh and black teas , either throughout the tea session or added to the final steepings.
