The leaf yielded by these trees carries the patience of the trees. At nineteen years since harvest, this puerh is the youngest sheng we're sharing this year, but for good reason. It doesn't need more aging to be ready. The mouth is smooth and full, the texture holding steady through many steepings. Sweetness rises early and stays, softening the light bitterness that young sheng carries, the way green fruit has an edge. The notes compliment rather than compete.
