Meet Katarina Stanisavljevic
Mindfulness is built into my life as a matter of how present I am moment to moment.
I practice meditations on loving-kindness, emptiness, and spatial awareness. This allows me to notice where in my body, mind and the wider field I am in is contracted, dense, or murky, and to gently relax into awareness to open into a more robust experience of clarity and compassion. Mindfulness is built into my life as a matter of how present I am moment to moment. As a Zen Shiatsu Practitioner, I am working with clients to facilitate healing, health, and wellbeing.

Meditation is essential to my mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
Describe one tradition that you connect with regularly and why?
I connect with many traditions, though Buddhism has consistently been a source of deep wisdom teachings that has illuminated the path for me.
What's the most common method you use for tea preparation and what are you excited to learn more about?
I most often enjoy brewing sidehandle tea. A few of my favorite Living Teas are Hidden Temple green tea, Golden Daylily roasted oolong, Glade of Bees honey sweet red tea, and River Song shou puerh. I would love to learn more about gongfu style tea.
Describe one way that you support your community and what would help you to support others more effectively
