Handmade Chawan - Matcha Bowl
A beautiful matcha bowl, or chawan, is one of the most important elements of a Japanese tea ceremony. It is designed for making matcha that is especially smooth and frothy. This hand-thrown ceramic chawan, or tea bowl, made by local Telluride artist Jacey Anne, is designed for both mixing and enjoying the frothy matcha. There is some variation in bowl size so please expect some wabi-sabi in matching bowls exactly. These are hand-thrown and personal so each bowl is unique, celebrating the perfection of the imperfect.
Enjoy our matcha, Parasol, with this chawan.
